1. How much of ourselves should we give to those we love? How much sacrifice is okay for one another?
2. Does "growing up" necessarily invovle betraying those we love? Is there any form of growing up that does not involve betrayal?
3. How does education change a person?
4. Is there higher knowledge that one does not learn at school or from books?
5. Why is there no mentioning of God or her relationship with God when her upbringing and her tension with her family were inseparable from their religious beliefs?
